Family members can leave a note in the student's logbook every day. As an educator, you can consult these notes thanks to the new section “Parent Notes”, available within Registers, both from the browser (educator side) and from the Easy Staff App.
The notes are for consultation only: entry, modification, and deletion are the responsibility of the family members (who can modify or delete them only within 10 minutes of entry).
From Browser (educator side)
Log in educator side (green menu).
From the left menu, click on “Registers” → “Parent Notes”.
The list of notes divided by day will open.
To facilitate consultation, filters are available at the top:
Month
Year
Section
Students
For each day, a card is shown with the date and the number of notes present (e.g. 07/17/2026 – 1 note). To view the details:
Click on the magnifying glass icon to the right of the day's card.
For each note, you will see four pieces of information: Students (the student to whom the note refers), Parent (the family member who wrote it), Time (entry time), and Note (the entered text).
From the Easy Staff App
Log in to the app and open the “Registers” section.
Tap on “Parent Notes”.
The list of notes for the selected day will open.
On this screen, you can:
Change day using the calendar bar at the top (left arrow for the previous day, right arrow for the next).
Filter results using the “Section” and “Student” dropdown menus.
For the selected day, a card is shown for each student who received a note, containing:
The first and last name of the student.
The text of the note.
The name of the family member who entered it and the time (e.g. Mario Angeli – 10:55).
Note: the “Parent Notes” section only shows notes actually entered by family members. If no notes appear for a given day, it means that none were written for that day, or that the function has been disabled for that section by the coordinator. Educators can consult the notes but cannot modify or delete them.
Thanks to this section, you can keep track, day by day, of all communications left by family members in the logbook.
