To create a communication as an educator, access the app and go to the “Request Equipment” tab located in the second row on the left.

Writing a communication

1. Access the App

Go to the “Request Equipment” tab.

2. Message Type

Select the type of message to send. By clicking on the dropdown menu, you will have two options: Message or Request equipment. Click on “Message”.

3. Labels

Choose the label from those preset by the administrator. You can also decide whether to:

• Enable recipient responses.

• Mark the message as Urgent.

• Create individual messages for each recipient.

If you select the individual messages option, each user will receive a private message as if you had sent it only to them, and if you leave responses enabled, they will be able to reply privately. However, this will mean that for each communication, you will have as many outgoing messages as there are students included. Otherwise, you will see a single outgoing message with many recipients, and if you leave responses enabled, everyone will be able to see each other's responses.

4. Recipients

Select from the list who to send the communication to. If you want to send it to everyone, click on the “Select all” checkbox next to the icon shaped like a little person with a search symbol. In the top right, you can also include educators as recipients. Once you have completed the selection of recipients, click the “Save” button in the top right.

5. Subject and content of the communication

Enter the subject of the communication in the designated field. In the field below, write the text of the communication. Using the icons below, you can:

• Attach a document (first icon on the left).

• Add a photo (center icon).

• Attach a video (right icon).

We advise against using the messaging function to share daily photos and videos, for this we have a dedicated function.

6. Send or save the draft

Once all fields are completed, you have two options:

• Send the communication by clicking the light blue round button shaped like a paper airplane.

• Save the draft by clicking the “Save” button in the top right.
