To modify an absence from the app, go to the tab in the top left "View Records". Then go to the tab on the right "Educator Record".
Step 1 – Record search filters to modify or delete
In the string at the top, you will find the calendar, which you can navigate using the left arrow to search for a date prior to those displayed, or the right arrow to search for a subsequent date.
You will find three filters that can facilitate your search:
• "Type": to filter by type of activity
• "Staff": to filter by the educator who entered the activity
• "Student": to filter by selecting the student from the list that will open.
To modify or delete an absence, filter by activity type "Absent" and, if only for one student, also filter by "Student" to speed up the search.
Step 2 – Select and delete absence for a single student
On the next screen, all records registered on the selected date will be displayed.
Within the tab, you will find:
• Name and surname of the person who created the record
• Indication of the date and time of the absence registration
• Type of record and list of students for whom the same record was registered, viewable by clicking on the magnifying glass icon.
At the top right of each tab, you will find two icons:
• The red icon with the trash can allows you to delete the absence (once clicked, an alert "Delete Are you sure?" will appear asking for confirmation of the record deletion).
Step 3 – Select and modify absence for a single student
The green pencil-shaped icon is used to modify the absence. By clicking, you will be directed to a page where you will find:
• Indication of the date of the registered absence
• Indication of the reason for the absence.
To proceed to the next step, click the light blue button at the bottom "Next", and you will be redirected to a summary screen of the registrations. Click again on "Next" at the bottom.
On the next screen, the tabs of the students for whom you are modifying the record will be displayed. The student data is contained in a rectangle; if the rectangle is bordered in light blue, the student is selected; if it is borderless, it is deselected. To toggle the selection, click in the top right corner of the tab where the "V" symbol is located.
Within the tab, you will find:
• Student Photo (if uploaded)
• Name and Surname of the student and Section of belonging
• Data related to the absence registration or other registrations.
You can add a personal note by clicking on the tab "write your note here" present in each student tab.
The list of students is divided by section; the name of the section is at the top, and by clicking on it, you can switch from one section to another.
After making all the desired changes, click "Next" at the bottom.
Step 4: Summary and Confirmation
The last step is a summary screen where the date of the absence and the count of students for whom the registration is being made will be shown, divided by sections. To confirm the save, click the light blue button at the bottom "Save".
If you wish to change something, you can click on the arrow-shaped icon at the top left to return to the previous steps.
